Hedgehog Lodge

Hedgehogs find their way into the lodge for a variety of reasons. Some are simply too much for their owners to handle, others were reliquished due to an owner's life circumstances. Rescues come in all shapes and sizes. Some are perfectly healthy, others need ongoing medical attention. The usual rescue is a little nervous and antisocial but will come around with the right amount of attention.

Rescues are a good option for someone who is looking to help a hedgehog who is looking for a second chance. I have seen many rescues flourish wonderfully in the hands of a patient, understanding owner. 

The adoption fee of a rescue is typically based on origin, age, health and temperment of the specific rescue.
