As much as I'd love to keep all my mama and papa hogs, I need to keep my numbers as low as possible to ensure everyone gets as much attention from me as possible. In paticular, I need the time to work with rescues and handle new babies. Because of this, I like to find great homes for most of my breeders once they retire from the breeding program.

Retired breeders are usually a great deal. Quilling is over, they are exceptionally friendly, healthy and nice looking. (Or else I wouldn't be breeding them!) Unfortunately they don't come around too often and as they are my beloved pets, I am very choosey about who ends up with them. The best bet for getting a retired breeder is being patient and waiting until you hear of one being retired, and then enquiring as to where they will be going!
